Genesis 3:15

Gen 13:5 - And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."

Now, this verse got me thinking. If ...

          ..you will strike His heel - Resulted in Jesus got whipped and crucified on the cross (which is already bad enough)

THEN

..He will crush your head -  Must have resulted in a total annihilation and a massacre in the kingdom of darkness. 

Paul gave a glimpse of this  "And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross." Colossians 2:15.

Wow! The message is really striking, powerful and complete. “On the back of Satan’s neck is a nail scarred footprint.” - C.S. Lewis

And it was prophesied thousands of years before Christ was born.  Think about that too!

Psalm 119:105

I have always thought about this particular verse as it express dual ideas about the Word of God at one go.

Your word is a lamp for my feet,

    a light on my path.

This is what I believe the verse is saying:-

Lamp ------- Feet (The Word watches over every step I take in life)

Light ---------Path (The Word gives direction throughout my journey)

The Word of God covers my entire walk in this life. I'm covered!

It is this journey that brings us HAPPINESS
